What if your love for people could become something bigger?
You know that person who somehow knows everyone? The one who can walk into a room alone and leave with five new friends, three interesting conversations and a plan for the next weekend? Maybe that person is you. Now imagine having a community, a platform and a team behind you to turn that instinct into something bigger. That's what being a TGC Ambassador is about.
Overview
Maybe that person is you.
You already love meeting people. You enjoy connecting them, discovering new places, bringing different people together and being the one who says, “Guys, let's do something!”
Chapter 1 of 7
You Don't Have to Build From Zero
Building a community is hard. Finding the right people, getting them to show up, keeping them connected and creating something they want to come back to — that can take years. With TGC, you get the opportunity to build your city's community around an existing TGC member ecosystem, through authorised channels and with support from TGC Central. For an entrepreneur, that's a powerful starting point. Instead of constantly asking, “Where do I find my people?” — you get to start with a community that is already growing.
Ready to Be the Person Who Brings Everyone Together?
You might already have the instinct. The conversations. The connections. The energy. Now give it a platform. Your city has people waiting to meet each other. Maybe you're the one who brings them together.

Guidelines
What does it mean to be a TGC Ambassador?
A TGC Ambassador is the community-facing representative and Local Chapter lead for their assigned city. Your role is simple at its heart: bring people together, create meaningful experiences and help build a strong TGC community in your city.
19 topics — open what you need
Ambassadorship is subject to approval and activation by TGC Central. Once approved, your appointment is personal to you. It cannot be transferred to another person, and no substitute or co-Ambassador can represent your chapter without written approval. Your Local Chapter, its member groups, social handles, databases, credentials, brand assets and other TGC identifiers remain under LBB's ownership and ultimate control.
The fee is payable in advance from activation. It is separate from event revenue sharing, any separately communicated referral or conversion incentive, and other approved commercial arrangements. Once a monthly period has started, the fee is ordinarily non-refundable unless required by law or expressly approved by LBB. If an undisputed fee remains unpaid, TGC Central may pause event approvals, chapter benefits or access until payment is cleared.
Every Ambassador is expected to organise and conduct at least 2 physical Ambassador Events every calendar month. A written waiver may be provided by TGC Central for a particular month. These aren't just events with the TGC name attached — they should be genuinely organised through your Local Chapter and separately approved by TGC Central. Repeatedly missing the minimum without an approved waiver may lead to a performance review, suspension of benefits or termination.
Before an Ambassador Event is announced, ticketed, sponsored, co-branded or presented as a TGC event, it must receive approval from TGC Central. For approval you may be asked for event purpose, date and time, venue, ticket price, capacity, programme, vendors, speakers or performers, licences and permissions, safety arrangements and promotional material. Submitting an event does not mean it is approved. Approval is an internal TGC brand and community approval — not legal, regulatory, safety or quality certification — and it does not transfer responsibility for the event to LBB/TGC.
Once an event has been approved, important changes cannot simply be made independently. Fresh approval is required for material changes to ticket price, date, venue, timing, theme, capacity, speakers or performers, age restrictions, promised inclusions or safety arrangements. When something important changes, tell TGC Central before implementing the change.
As an Ambassador, you remain responsible for the events and Local Chapter commitments you make — venue and vendor coordination, local staff and volunteers, ticketing and collections, attendee communication, refunds and cancellations, required licences and permissions, safety and security, crowd management, event delivery and applicable legal requirements. TGC Central may help with brand and community coordination, but approval does not make TGC the organiser or guarantor of your event.
For a paid Ambassador Event, 10% of Net Ticket Revenue goes to LBB/TGC Central and 90% remains with the Ambassador / Local Chapter. Net Ticket Revenue means ticket amounts actually received after applicable indirect taxes actually collected and genuine refunds, cancellations, chargebacks or payment reversals. Event operating costs are not deducted before calculating TGC's share unless TGC Central agrees otherwise in writing. Settlement and the applicable amount due to LBB should ordinarily be provided within 7 business days after the event.
Sometimes a TGC Collaborator's event may be formally allocated to your Local Chapter. You may support the local coordination, but you cannot change the Collaborator's price, revenue share, promotional commitments or contractual terms unless you have written authority. Where the standard 15% TGC-side Collaborator share applies, the standard internal allocation is 10% to TGC Central and 5% to the Local Chapter Ambassador. The Ambassador's 5% becomes payable only after LBB has received and reconciled the underlying Collaborator revenue.
All ticket sales and collections must be properly recorded — ticket sales, discounts, complimentary tickets, sponsored entries, refunds and payment collections. Off-book or deliberately hidden collections are not permitted. You must not redirect bookings to cash, personal accounts, alternate links or another entity to hide revenue or avoid TGC's agreed share. Event-related financial, booking, licence, consent, vendor and settlement records should generally be retained for at least 3 years, or longer where required by law.
An Ambassador cannot take loans, guarantees, venue debt, vendor credit or other financial commitments in the name of LBB/TGC. Similarly, if you expect TGC Central to bear or reimburse an expense, obtain written approval before making the commitment. Sponsorships, co-branding, brand activations, donations, fundraising, barter arrangements, venue partnerships and similar third-party arrangements using TGC identity require prior written approval.
TGC is intended to be a positive, community-focused space. Events and Local Chapter activities must be lawful, respectful, inclusive and safe. TGC does not permit activities involving racism, caste or religious hatred, discrimination, political campaigning or party-political promotion, violence, obscenity, pornography, sexual exploitation, harassment, fraud, illegal gambling, unlawful substances, criminal activity, dangerous misconduct or misleading claims. If a genuine legal, safety, ethical, member-experience or brand concern arises, TGC Central may require an activity or communication to be changed, postponed, suspended or stopped.
You are responsible for obtaining the permissions and approvals required for your event — venue, police, fire, music, food/liquor, health and safety, and sector-specific permissions. You are also responsible for appropriate crowd management, security, emergency planning, medical arrangements where necessary, accessibility and safe event delivery. Where required by law, venue terms or reasonably requested by TGC Central, appropriate insurance must also be maintained.
If you bring employees, coordinators, interns, volunteers, contractors or recurring local personnel into your chapter, TGC Central must be informed in writing at least 10 days before they start. These people remain your responsibility unless LBB separately contracts with them in writing. No person below 18 may be engaged as Local Chapter staff or an event worker. If minors attend or participate in an event, appropriate guardian consent, supervision and child-safety measures must be followed.
TGC Member Data is confidential. Use it only for authorised TGC community or event purposes. Never sell or share member data, scrape or export it for another purpose, build a separate database from it, use it for a personal venture, or add members to unrelated groups or marketing lists without a lawful basis or appropriate consent. If you become aware of a loss, leak, unauthorised access or misuse of Member Data, inform TGC Central within 24 hours of becoming aware of it.
As an Ambassador, you receive a limited right to use approved TGC branding for approved Local Chapter purposes during your appointment. That does not mean you can use the TGC name or identity for your own business, political activity, fundraising, loans, private commercial arrangements or anything that creates an appearance of official TGC backing without approval. Official Local Chapter social pages, websites, broadcast channels, mailing lists and public groups using TGC branding also require TGC Central approval, with access remaining transferable to TGC Central.
If you have a personal or financial interest in a venue, vendor, sponsor, Collaborator or other Local Chapter transaction, you must disclose it. TGC opportunities and Member Data should never be used to improperly benefit a personal venture. Bribery, kickbacks, secret commissions, fraud, false invoicing and deliberate misstatements about attendance, ticketing or collections are not acceptable.
Serious incidents should be escalated to TGC Central as soon as reasonably practicable — death or serious injury, fire, major crowd incidents, police or regulatory action, missing children, serious harassment or assault allegations, or major public controversy. Where practicable, a factual written summary should ordinarily be provided within 24 hours.
If your event is cancelled, postponed, relocated or materially disrupted, inform TGC Central promptly. You remain responsible for informing attendees, managing refunds where legally required, communicating rescheduling and handling the event-related consequences. Where circumstances genuinely beyond your control prevent the event from taking place, TGC and the Ambassador will cooperate on rescheduling where practical.
Either you or LBB may ordinarily end the Ambassador arrangement with 15 days' written notice. However, TGC Central may suspend or terminate the role immediately for serious matters such as fraud, illegal activity, major safety risks, misuse of Member Data or TGC branding, unauthorised debt or commitments, revenue concealment, child-safety breaches, serious harassment/discrimination, major reputation risks or repeated failure to conduct required events. When your role ends, you must stop representing yourself as a TGC Ambassador and stop unauthorised use of TGC branding. Official chapter credentials, groups, social-media access, databases, event files, Member Data and LBB-owned assets must be handed over as directed, ordinarily within 48 hours.

About the Role
A TGC Ambassador is the community-facing representative and Local Chapter lead for a city assigned by TGC Central. The role is about building a local TGC community, bringing people together and creating meaningful experiences.
No. An Ambassador is an independent community representative. The role does not make you an employee, partner, franchisee or legal agent of LBB/TGC. You also cannot sign contracts, take loans, create liabilities or make legal commitments on behalf of TGC unless you have specific written authority.
Not automatically. The Ambassador appointment is personal and non-transferable. A substitute, co-Ambassador or another person cannot represent TGC on your behalf without written approval from TGC Central.
The Terms require an Ambassador to act as the community-facing lead for the city assigned by TGC Central. The application therefore asks about your connection with the city and local community. The final assignment is subject to TGC Central approval.
Fees & Commitment
The Ambassador Program Fee is ₹2,999 per month + applicable taxes. It is payable in advance from activation.
Once a monthly period has started, the fee is ordinarily non-refundable unless required by law or expressly approved by LBB.
Not necessarily. The monthly Ambassador Program Fee is separate from event revenue sharing and any referral or conversion incentive that TGC Central may separately communicate in writing.
Ambassadors are expected to organise and conduct at least 2 physical Ambassador Events every calendar month. TGC Central may provide a written waiver for a particular month. Repeated failure to meet the requirement without a waiver may lead to a performance review, suspension of benefits or termination.
The Terms specify physical Ambassador Events, but do not state that every event must be paid. Individual events still need to be submitted and approved by TGC Central.
Speak to TGC Central in advance and request a written waiver for that month. Do not assume that missing the requirement is automatically waived.
Events
No. An Ambassador Event must receive TGC Central approval before it is publicly announced, ticketed, sponsored, co-branded or presented as a TGC event.
No. Submission only begins the review process. The event becomes approved only after TGC Central provides approval.
You may be asked for event purpose, date and time, venue, ticket price, capacity, programme, vendors, speakers or performers, licences and permissions, safety arrangements and promotional material.
Material changes require fresh approval. This includes changes to price, date, venue, timing, theme, capacity, speakers or performers, age restrictions, promised inclusions and safety arrangements.
No. TGC approval is an internal brand and community approval. It is not legal, regulatory, safety or quality certification. You remain responsible for your event.
Yes, subject to the event approval process and your responsibility for the venue, vendors and event delivery. You are responsible for ensuring that the venue and vendors are suitable and that all required permissions and safety requirements are met.
The Terms place event costs and event liabilities on the Ambassador unless LBB expressly agrees otherwise in writing. Do not assume TGC will pay or reimburse an expense unless you have received written approval beforehand.
Money & Revenue
For a paid Ambassador Event, 10% of Net Ticket Revenue goes to LBB/TGC Central and 90% remains with the Ambassador / Local Chapter. Net Ticket Revenue is the amount actually received from tickets after applicable indirect taxes actually collected and genuine refunds, cancellations, chargebacks or payment reversals. Event operating costs are not deducted before calculating TGC's share unless TGC Central agrees otherwise in writing.
Ticket amounts actually received after applicable indirect taxes actually collected, genuine refunds, cancellations, chargebacks and payment reversals. Normal event operating costs are not deducted before calculating TGC's share unless agreed in writing.
A ticket-sales and settlement statement, along with amounts due to LBB, should ordinarily be provided within 7 business days after the event, unless a different timeline has been approved.
The Terms require payment and booking channels to be disclosed to TGC Central before promotion and prohibit redirecting bookings to personal accounts or alternate channels for the purpose of hiding revenue or avoiding TGC's share. Keep all collections transparent and properly recorded.
Yes, where appropriate, but discounts, complimentary tickets, sponsored entries, refunds and collections must be accurately recorded. They should not be used to hide collections or manipulate the revenue calculation.
Not unless TGC Central has specifically approved the amount, purpose and collection process.
Collaborator Events
Yes. A Collaborator Event may be formally allocated to your Local Chapter, in which case you may support local coordination. However, the Collaborator's contractual terms remain governed by the separate Collaborator Agreement.
No, unless you have written authority. An Ambassador cannot independently change a Collaborator's price, revenue share, promotional commitments or contractual terms.
Where the event is formally allocated to your Local Chapter and the standard 15% TGC-side Collaborator share applies, the standard internal allocation is 10% to TGC Central and 5% to the Local Chapter Ambassador. Your 5% share becomes payable only after LBB has received and reconciled the underlying Collaborator revenue, subject to genuine refunds, chargebacks and reversals.
No. The 5% applies only to Collaborator Events that are formally allocated to your Local Chapter and where the standard 15% TGC-side share applies.
Authority & Partnerships
Not unless you have specific written authority from TGC Central. Without such authority, you cannot bind LBB/TGC to a contract, debt, guarantee or other commitment.
Yes — however sponsorships, co-branding, brand activations, donations, fundraising, barter arrangements, venue partnerships and other third-party commercial arrangements using TGC identity require prior written approval.
Only if it has been approved in writing beforehand. Do not commit an expense expecting reimbursement unless TGC Central has approved it.
Yes, you may use the Promoter & Collaborator channel with similar rules and regulations, excluding the monthly fees — as an Ambassador you get this privilege automatically. You should not use TGC branding, Member Data or TGC opportunities to improperly benefit a personal venture. If you have a personal or financial interest in a venue, vendor, sponsor, Collaborator or other chapter transaction, disclose it to TGC Central.
Community & Member Data
Only for an authorised TGC community or event purpose and where the required lawful basis or appropriate consent exists. TGC Member Data cannot be used to build unrelated communities or marketing lists.
No. Member Data cannot be sold, shared, scraped, monetised, used to build an independent database or diverted to a personal venture or unrelated community.
Inform TGC Central within 24 hours of becoming aware of a suspected loss, leak, unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse, and cooperate with reasonable containment and remediation.
People & Safety
Yes, but TGC Central must be informed in writing at least 10 days before an employee, coordinator, intern, volunteer, contractor or recurring local personnel starts working for or within the Local Chapter. They remain your responsibility unless LBB separately contracts with them.
No person below 18 may be engaged as Local Chapter staff or an event worker. Minors may attend or participate as attendees where appropriate, but required guardian consent, supervision and child-safety measures must be followed.
That depends on the event. You are responsible for obtaining applicable venue, police, fire, music, food/liquor, health/safety and sector-specific permissions, licences or NOCs. If you're unsure whether an event requires a particular permission, check before proceeding.
Serious incidents should be escalated to TGC Central as soon as reasonably practicable — including serious injury, death, fire, major crowd incidents, police or regulatory action, a missing child, serious harassment or assault allegations, or major public controversy. Where practicable, a factual written summary should ordinarily follow within 24 hours.
Branding & Social Media
Official Local Chapter social-media pages, websites, broadcast channels, mailing lists and public groups using TGC branding require TGC Central approval. Access must remain transferable to TGC Central.
No. You receive a limited, revocable and non-transferable right to use approved TGC branding for approved Local Chapter purposes during your appointment. It cannot be used for unauthorised personal, political, commercial or other activities.
Not unless TGC Central has authorised them. Ambassadors cannot independently create local exceptions, extra posting rights, guaranteed publication, discounts or other commercial benefits on behalf of TGC.
Leaving TGC
Yes. Either you or LBB may ordinarily end the Ambassador arrangement by providing 15 days' written notice.
Yes, in serious circumstances — including fraud, illegal activity, major safety risks, misuse of Member Data or TGC branding, unauthorised debt or commitments, deliberate revenue concealment, child-safety breaches, serious harassment or discrimination, major reputation risks or repeated failure to conduct required events.
You must stop representing yourself as a TGC Ambassador and stop unauthorised use of TGC branding. Official chapter credentials, groups, social-media access, databases, event files, Member Data and LBB-owned assets must be handed over as directed, ordinarily within 48 hours. Outstanding revenue shares, refunds, event liabilities, settlement obligations, confidentiality and Member Data responsibilities can continue after the role ends.
One Important Thing to Remember
Your TGC Ambassadorship is about trust.
You are representing a community, not just organising events. If something involves money, member data, TGC branding, a third-party commercial arrangement, a material event change or a commitment on behalf of TGC — ask TGC Central before acting.
Do's & Don'ts
You represent the community. Act like it.
Being a TGC Ambassador comes with freedom to build your local community — and responsibility for how you do it. Here's your quick guide to what you should and shouldn't do.
✅ Do
15- Build your local community — Create meaningful experiences, bring people together and actively build your TGC Local Chapter.
- Organise at least 2 physical events every month — Plan ahead and conduct your minimum monthly events unless TGC Central has given you a written waiver.
- Get approval before announcing an event — Submit your event to TGC Central and wait for express approval before announcing, ticketing, sponsoring, co-branding or presenting it as a TGC event.
- Give complete and accurate event information — Be transparent about: Price, Date and time, Venue, Capacity, Programme, Speakers / performers, Vendors, Inclusions, Age restrictions, Safety arrangements.
- Ask before making material changes — If the price, date, venue, timing, theme, capacity, performers, inclusions or safety arrangements change, get fresh approval before implementing the change.
❌ Don't
15- Don't announce an unapproved TGC event — An idea is not an approval. Do not publicly announce, ticket, sponsor, co-brand or present an event as a TGC event until TGC Central has approved it.
- Don't change approved event details on your own — No silent changes to price, date, venue, timing, theme, capacity, performers, inclusions, age restrictions or safety arrangements.
- Don't hide or redirect revenue — Never move bookings to cash, personal accounts, alternate links or another entity to hide collections or avoid TGC's agreed share.
- Don't make commitments for TGC — You cannot sign contracts on behalf of TGC, take loans or guarantees, create venue debt, take vendor credit, or create other financial or legal liabilities, unless you have specific written authority.
- Don't promise things TGC hasn't approved — Don't create your own discounts, guaranteed posts, extra promotional rights, commercial benefits or local exceptions, unless TGC Central has authorised them.
